Wigs by Maple was founded by Jackson Crawford, otherwise known as Maple Richards, a college drag queen, full-time student and personal trainer (NASM certified). Since, he was young, Jackson loved to play sports, and do various art projects including styling hair. Overtime his affinity for hair grew and now he is pre-styling quality synthetic and real hair wigs for clients. His passion for hair got him interested into drag and Maple has performed at clubs from the Valley outside of Los Angeles County to 340Nightclub in Pomona.
Outside of Drag Jackson enjoys going the gym regularly and is an avid weightlifter. At the moment he has 6 clients and is a personal trainer at Loyola Marymount University. He is a marketing major and currently a junior. After college he hopes to expand his drag career and hopefully get on Rupaul’s Drag Race. After the show, assuming he makes the cut, he wants to perform around the world and expand his growing wig business.
